League Will Expand To Six Teams!

Florida Fall league commissioner Matt Stark has announce the league will expand to six teams for the 2008 season. " With the inquires, and the number of players currently registered we have decided to expand the league adding two more teams" stated Stark. This will enable more professional scouts, managers and coaches to get involved. " This is a possitive step in the right direction" Stark added. With professional and free agent players participating in the league last year along with scheduled games against Major League organizations Instructional ball teams this simply gives players from all walks of life the opportunity to experience a professionally formatted league that is extremely competative. 12 players signed professional contracts last season and the league crowned team "Teal' league Champions, managed by current Sioux City Explorer (American Association) manager Les Lancaster. The league will limit itself to 132 players. Major league scouts, professional managers and coaches will act as staff members and instructors for the upcoming 2008 season.
